Casting for:
African dance work by Etienne Cakpo:
Dancers selected for Cakpo's piece will rehearse MWF 4:30-5 pm fall quarter and will be required to enroll in Dance 380 (3 credits). Dancers interested in Cakpo's African dance piece are also encouraged to attend Dance 380 on Wednesday, September 29, 4:30-6 pm in Meany 266.
Swing dance work by Ben White:
Dancers selected for White's piece should be available for rehearsals on MWF 2:30-4 pm during fall quarter.
Contemporary dance works by Alana Isiguen and Rachael Lincoln:
Dancers selected for pieces by Isiguen and Lincoln will rehearse 4 hours per week during fall quarter at times negotiated by the choreographers and cast.
Open to all UW students. Selected students will be expected to enroll in a UW Department of Dance course. They will also be required to attend additional rehearsals at the start of winter quarter and all tech rehearsals January 5-18 and the performances January 19-23, 2022.
