Congratulations to dance major, Zakkir Rahman for being awarded the Mary Gates Research Scholarship!
Mary Gates Research Scholarships are competitive scholarships intended to enhance the educational experiences of undergraduate students at the University of Washington. Students receive scholarships to pursue research in a variety of disciplines, including social sciences, arts, and humanities.
“I’m grateful to be awarded this scholarship,” said Rahman. “My research is focused on performance art sustainability and recognition. With the award, I can draw all of my energy and time on this project.”
