Graduating senior and Dance and International Studies major, Kevin Lam, has been awarded the Fulbright US Student Program scholarship for the 2019-20 academic year. Kevin is one of sixteen UW students and alumni awarded with this scholarship to study and teach abroad this coming year.
Upon graduation, Kevin will be traveling across the world to be a Teaching Assistant to Taiwan. “I am feeling overwhelmed about living abroad as a representative of the US. However, I am excited to teach a classroom of elementary school students and engage in conversation with Taiwanese people about identity, arts, politics, and food,” says Kevin.
