Please join Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas and The UW Department of Dance for a free and online master class with Antoine Hunter, the Artistic Director of Urban Jazz Dance Company. 

This class is open to the public. No observers will be permitted in class. All levels of movement experiences are welcomed. Class will have ASL interpretation.

Rejuvenate and strengthen your body and spirit! Express yourself through dance! Beginner or professional, this class is for everyone. It's not how high you kick, but why you kick! Urban Jazz Dance is a convergence of artistic forces where raw energy that is rooted in freedom is expressed through athletic and passionate dance.

About Antoine Hunter: 

Bay Area native, Antoine Hunter, also known as Purple Fire Crow is an award-winning Internationally-known African-American, Indigenous, Deaf, Disabled, choreographer, dancer, actor, instructor, speakers, producer, and Deaf advocate. He creates opportunities for Disabled, Deaf and hearing artists and produces Deaf-friendly events, and founded the Urban Jazz Dance Company and Bay Area International Deaf Dance Festival.
