The University of Washington is excited to work with LANGSTON to offer the community a free public workshop in West African dance by 2018-2019 Kawasaki Guest Artist, Etienne Cakpo on Sunday May 5th from 12-2pm.
This no cost workshop is made possible by the Glenn Kawasaki Guest Artist Fund. Etienne was selected to serve as the 2018-2019 Kawasaki Guest Artist at UW last Autumn, with his students presenting at the Faculty Dance Concert in January 2019.
Open to all experience levels ages 13 and up.
