Lisa Kwak (she/her/hers)

Lisa Kwak likes to make and support dance work that are around social issues and that highlight the richness of the human spirit. She has danced in works by Camille A. Brown, Shapiro & Smith, Dani Tirrell, Veronika Lee Bek, Rachael Lincoln, Etienne Cakpo, and Leslie Kraus, among others. Lisa has worked with dance companies and theatres including PRICEArts N.E.W., The Guild Dance Company, Chamber Dance Company, 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, and was a 2021 Village Theatre Northwest Creator Resident. Lisa's creations have been presented in shows and festivals in Seattle such as Strictly Seattle Dance Festival, PRICEarts NEW InSHOP, Velocity Dance Center's PORTALS, and Lisa is a selected choreographer for BOOST dance festival produced by eXit SPACE. In addition to dance, Lisa is developing her skills in graphic design and clothing design!
