Jessica Khaskheli is grateful to be dancing alongside studying physics. Her previous dance experience is in classical dance styles but through her time at UW, she’s been able to explore interests in improv. This allowed her to feel more freedom in her movement, which has been a gateway to more honest self-expression and finally feeling seen.

What is one of your favorite moments from your time with the Department of Dance?

Talking to friends after class in the hallways, improvising during class with friends and cyphering, having rehearsals

What are your plans or goals for post-graduation?

I'm planning on going to graduate school for a Masters degree but still deciding where to commit to.
