Biography

Food System, Nutrition & Health, and Dance

Growing up in Taiwan, Coco Chuang began her college experience here at the University of Washington. She will be receiving B.A in Food System, Nutrition & Health, and Dance this June. While studying dance and nutrition, she had developed passions in exercise therapy and sports nutrition and will hopefully continue her education through graduate school in the future. She is also passionate about doing works related to food policy and sustainable food systems in hopes to make an impact on the health and wellness of our population.

Favorite Moment at the Department of Dance

In Comp 1, some of my classmates and I created a site-specific piece at the West stairway in Meany Hall. It was very interesting to see how everyone’s creativity and aesthetics merge together, and I remember it was really fun working with such a diverse group of people.

Future Plans

After graduating, I'm planning to take a gap year for self-development and gain more experience in the job field. I'm hoping to go back to school for graduate school after that.
