Biography
Anna is graduating from UW with a BS in Biology and a BA in Dance. She practices many different styles of dance, with particular interests in modern and tap. She is currently teaching at DASSdance in Seattle, and plans to continue after graduation. She has greatly enjoyed the enriching and unique dance education that the UW has provided, which has given her lessons that she will carry with her throughout her lifetime. She would like to thank each of the dedicated staff members for their personal investment in her growth and learning as a dancer.
What is one of your favorite moments from your time with the Department of Dance?
Some of my favorite moments have been taking dance classes outside on especially sunny days. I love walking around campus and seeing all the places where I’ve gotten to dance and remembering all the curious stares we got from passersby.
What plans or goals do you have for post-graduation?
I am planning on continuing to teach dance and eventually attending vet school.
