The Antoinette Wills Endowed Fund for Graduate Students

The College of Arts & Sciences Willis Endowed Fund is designed to provide research/travel assistance for graduate students in the divisions of the Humanities and the Arts.

Undergraduate dance major, Aysem Cam received the Peeler-Horan Scholarship for Performing Arts. 

Peeler-Horan Scholarship for Performing Arts

This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to a highly deserving undergraduate student who is majoring in the Arts. This scholarship was established in 2013 by Mr. L. Lincoln Johnson, former University of Washington Associate Vice President for Student Life and Director of the HUB. He created this scholarship to honor two former faculty members at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, professors Karen Peeler and Leta Horan. Both were inspirational to Mr. Johnson, who earned his B.A. in Music at Baylor.

Undergraduate dance major, Carina Lengua Hussing received the Mary Katherine Mackenzie and Mary Ann Whitmore Endowed Scholarship. 

Mary Katherine Mackenzie and Mary Ann Whitmore Endowed Scholarship

The Mary Katherine Mackenzie and Mary Ann Whitmore Endowed Scholarships are given to two undergraduate students from each of the four divisions (Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences), for a total of eight awardees per academic year. This award is for excellence in a field of study, and can be used for tuition, fees, books, and/or other educational needs.
