"Suburban Flury" premieres at the 62nd Annual New York Film Festival

The University of Washington Department of Dance Music Director Paul Moore composed the soundtrack of Suburban Flury, a compelling nonfiction drama that will be premiering at the Lincoln Center at the 62nd Annual New York Film Festival this weekend!

“It’s a poetic, artsy documentary,” Paul shares, “about a would-be assassin…She spent over 30 years of life in prison, and as soon as she was released we filmed a ton of interviews and made this documentary.”

Suburban Flury tells the story of Sara Jane Moore, who fired two shots at President Gerald Ford in 1975. As the New York Film Festival website explains: “The failed political assassination was destined to become a strange historical footnote, yet Moore is revealed as an extraordinary subject in this expansive, fascinating new documentary by protean Robinson Devor.” (https://www.filmlinc.org/nyff2024/films/suburban-fury/)

This feature documentary will premiere on Thursday, October 9th through the 13th in New York City.  Congratulations to Paul Moore!
