The University of Washington and the Department of Dance are committed to the health and safety of everyone at Meany Hall. The UW is working closely with local and state public health officials to monitor the coronavirus outbreak and is following guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Washington State Department of Health. More information on the UW’s response is located HERE.

The University’s custodial cleaning program uses an EPA-registered disinfectant to clean touchpoints and public and common area restrooms. UW Facilities crews have also implemented extra precautionary measures to clean and increase the disinfecting of surfaces in public areas that are touched frequently, such as door handles, banisters and elevator buttons. To further mitigate risk, staff are sanitizing theater seats and armrests before every concert.
