Catalog Description: 
Focuses on increasing salsa dance techniques, vocabulary, and improvisational skills at the advanced beginning/intermediate level while maintaining critical engagement with history, music, culture, and gender roles in salsa and other Afro-Caribbean dances. Prerequisite: DANCE 236; recommended: DANCE 236 or at least 30 hours of salsa instruction and practice.
