Serene Wong

Serene Wong is a core company artist with Spectrum Dance Theater under the direction of Donald Byrd. Born in Newport Beach, CA, she began her early ballet training at Huntington Academy of Dance and received the majority of her pre-professional training at International Ballet Academy in Bellevue, WA, performing extensively on the Eastside. She went on to the Graduate Program at Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, where she was featured in student showcases, danced in Terence Orr’s The Nutcracker and performed with Shana Simmons dance. This is her first concert with the UW’s Chamber Dance Company.
