Biography
Ana Mendoza Ramos (Performer) is a senior majoring in Medical Anthropology-Global Health, Anthropology of Globalization, Dance with a minor in Diversity. She was born in Chiapas, Mexico and grew up dancing traditional Ballet Folklorico, leading her to become head coach for Ballet Folklorico Angeles De Mexico. She has competed at the state level in contemporary, pom-kick and hip hop prior to attending the university. As a dance major, Ana has explored new forms of dance styles such as vertical, street styles, modern and African dance techniques. After graduation, she aims to utilize her knowledge by working in the Behavioral Health field with adolescents.

Performing and dancing for the 2022 DMC this past winter.
