A statement from the UW Department of Dance Faculty:
As outlined in our mission statement, in the UW Department of Dance, we believe that dance is for everybody. We aspire to create communities built on respect, equity, collaboration, and belonging. The Dance faculty stand by communities and movements at home and throughout the globe putting their bodies on the line in commitment and struggle for the foundational human right of bodily autonomy.
